“We discussed recent progress and future prospects for GIS in MSP. The session focused on knowledge creation by participatory mapping methods, and the evaluation of marine nature protection. The project staff introduced the Plan4Blue map production processes. The second session dealt with spatial analysis of co-location, and crossing administrative and land-sea boundaries. The new Plan4Blue cross-border spatial analysis book was presented in detail”, summarized WP leader Harri Tolvanen from University of Turku.
