The European Environment Agency EEA will publish ‘The European environment — state and outlook 2020’ report next week. This will be the sixth edition of the report. The report reviews the state, trends and future outlooks of environmental policy and the environment in Europe in relation to the global state of the environment every five years.

“The report is a summary of comprehensive reviews and research and offers insight into how the state of the environment is viewed in Europe and in various countries. It also reveals how Finland performs in comparison to other European countries. The launch event is part of the programme of Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The discussion will be continued in stakeholder events
