Our projects involve producing information for the decision-making needs to safeguard ecosystem service and biodiversity. We develop practical solutions that are based on strong scientific competence. Some of our projects are conducted in co-operation with other institutes and organisations. We receive funding from the state budget, EU framework programmes, the Academy of Finland, the Government, business enterprises, and foundations (such as the Maj and Tor Nessling Foundation and Kone Foundation).
